Is it just me or does Black History Month seem to be getting no play this year? I mean, I see all the programs listed above, but if it weren't for you guys, I wouldn't even know about those. Usually, around this time we're bombarded with everyone jumping on the Black History Month bandwagon (i.e. commercials/ads from McDonald's, Ford, Prudential, fried chicken specials at your local grocery store (lol), etc...), but I haven't seen any of that this year. Is it because this country feels as if there are too many other important things going on like the impending war, shuttle explosion, and possible terrorist attacks? Or, maybe it really is just me. Help me out here. Have you noticed the lack of "enthusiasm" for BHM this year?
