I agree with what's been said, and with what I'm getting ready to say you can agree or disagree. . .
What about the parents? Why weren't they sleeping in the bed with Michael and the other kids?
That may sound like I'm making light of the situation, but by no means am I trying to make this a joke. I said that to say this: we all probably have some family members that we won't let our children stay with, much less a stranger. Just because MJ is famous doesn't mean he's safe.
And parents, follow your instincts! If the mom wasn't comfortable with the "relationship" that existed between MJ and her son, then why didn't she step in? Yes, at that age, I will tell you who your friends can and cannot be!
I'm sorry about the rant - I'm done.

I agree that he needs to be placed UNDER the jail. I don't think Mike will last a minute there.

i agree!!! it is such a shame that a man that is so talented is not dealing with the realities of life. he's had such a positive impact on people and his personal drama just completely negates that.
it is ironic that these allegations are coming out again when he has a new album being released.
the ones that will ultimately suffer are his children!

If he is a pedophile then his children would only suffer if they were made to stay with him.
Getting them out of the presence of this man could only be a blessing.

Help cause I may be stoopid....
Where is/was MJ getting this endless supply of children? Ok, I know he does "charity" work, and I'm thinking "are these 'special needs' kids or children facing serious medical problems and they get to go to the Ranch to get away for a day from their issues?"
But who, in 2003, knowing what happened in 1993 (settlement) is going to put their children, even potentially, in harms way? Couldn't they go visit Gary Coleman (well, maybe not him either) or somebody with no legal clouds? Let's face it, Mike ain't been hot for a minute now...
Lastly, has anybody else found it odd that none of these allegedly victimized children is named Darnell, or Lakisha, or Deshinay? (apparently you cain't just do anything with Baybay kids.....)

Good questions TB06! I've been wondering the exact same things. What parent(s) in their right mind would let their child(ren) have a relationship...let alone spend the night with MJ knowing his past?

Apparently t he kid who made the allegation is the one who as featured in that documentary a few months ago.
SO we know EXACTLY who it is.

Are you talking about that big candy-ass half grown kid that wanted to sleep in his bed? The same one whose family got on television and said that they didn't see anything wrong with it?

I wish you guys could have heard the interview that Jermaine Jackson just did with CNN. He was profane and loud and mannish. He said that he was so sick and tired of people saying things that aren't true. He said that we have no f*cking idea what they are going through as a family. The people on CNN were floored like I was. I would like to read the transcript of that conversation.

I was thinking the same thing...at the expense of having an emotional distraught child. I just don't get how this happened, why the hell does a CHILD need an ADULT friend to play sleepover with? That chit ain't right! (a la Chris Rock). I could give a flying *Jermaine Jackson* whether the child feels comfortable around him, it's my job as a parent to see fit that I don't put my child in any unnecessary compromisting situations.

i wonder has anyone close to him, like his family, really tried to do an intervention of sorts to help "wean" him from kids?
is he that hard-headed he won't listen or are folks afraid he'll cut them off so they haven't said a word. either way, MJ and the parents who, from what i understand, "profited" from the relationship, should be in the "klink" together
i saw MJ in cuffs, it was a sad sight but necessary...
on Inside Edition, hints that the story is the mother of the alleged victim was mad at MJ hence the allegations.
unbelievable

After he said that this was a modern-day lynching and said that he and the family support him 1000%, I thought that would be enough. When he started "cussing and fussing", I actually laughed because I was so surprised at Jermaine's choice of words. I was thinking now is that really necessary? They couldn't go to break because it was in the "breaking new" phase of the show where they were covering this stuff live. I can't really imagine what the newscaster was thinking because I don't think that I have seen CNN when there was profanity used on a live show or live coverage. The look on her face showed that she was not used to such language on a live broadcast either. He was showing out and then he hung up the phone and the newcaster was like "Jermaine? Jermaine? Are you still with us? Jermaine?"
What are the charges? Lewd and Lascivious behavior with a minor?? THROW THE BOOK AT HIM!!
***they are now saying that the victim is a twelve year old cancer patient -- and now he's out and on his way to Neverland Ranch.
