Reading this thread has definitely made me reconsider my intention to rush in the fall. I'm from the South, go to a southern school, am the first in my family to go to college, do not come from wealthy parents, come from a public school, wasn't a cheerleader, and neither won nor entered in any beauty pageants. Guess I'm as "outside" as you can possibly get.
