It was actually awkward in a funny sort of way. Friday was his last day at his job (today he's starting a new one) so a bunch of his former coworkers were meeting us at a bar for happy hour as kind of a going away party for him. He and I went over together in his car and when we got there I was about to get out, and he said, "Wait, let me open the door for you." So I waited for him to come around to my side but then when he got there he just kind of stood there (maybe he was a little nervous). So I opened the door and started to get out, and he was like, "Wait, I have something for you." And then he got on his knee and pulled out the ring and asked me! And of course I said yes
The ring is 1/2 carat princess cut, and I love it! Unfortunately, it was too big, so it's currently off being resized... I can't wait to have it back!
