Should I go out tonight by myself?

Hi GCers

I was wondering if I should go out tonight by myself? Because no one wants to go out, but I really do. I just hate going to the bar by myself, I know there will be people that I know there so I shouldn't worry about it. But I just like to at least go with someone.

What do you think?

If you feel the need to ask, you should definitely go. It will be a growing experience. Just talk to people lol.

Go, but go to a place where you're guaranteed to know people. Being somewhere alone where you don't know anyone isn't exactly the SAFEST thing to do.

Go someplace where you know you'll know people - don't stay home just cause you'll have to walk in by yourself. I wouldn't go to a totally random bar though.

just kidding of course, even in the not-so-mean streets of San Deigo I wouldnt recommend it.

This may be a bit late, seeing as how it is almost 1:00am your time, but for future reference:

Why don't you call up some of the people who you expect to bump into at the club and see if you can hitch a ride with them?

Story:
Past-
I came from a college town where you could get into bars and drink underage. I started partying when I turned 18 and could get into a popular college bar for Sink or Swim. . .all you could drink for $7 from 11 PM to 1 AM.
Present-
My friends around here don't know how to party. I work from 8 to 5, go to school until 9 PM, and I have a healthy social life starting my party nights from Wednesday night to Sunday night. Sometimes my friends can hang, sometimes they can't. So, if I want to go out and no one else has the strength or stamina. . .I go alone. It's no big deal. Usually I end up meeting girls at the bar who complain about their friends. . .so, I never worry about not having anyone.

Plus, I'm not into going to bars, drinking silly, and trying to pick up some total stranger because 'he's hot'. . .so, it's best that you travel alone sometimes.

It wasn't to bad because I knew alot of people there. The bar where I go to is pretty much all greek on Thurs. I was the only one out of my sorority out last night.
