Fighting and arguing is often a failure of intimacy and a symptom of frustration.
If you find that your desire to fight diminishes with nudity and touching, it shows that your argument is probably more an example of a lack of intimacy and frustration then a legitimate problem.
Plus, it makes the don't argue in public rule most couples have a lot easier to enforce.
