Space heaters are great, but yes, they do use up a lot of electricity. I'm subletting from my friend and staying in his room over break, but it is kind of cold. I got a small space heater and it warms up the room after several minutes. The only thing is that when I plug it in, the light in the room gets dimmer each time I turn the heater up.
