Yesterday was a co-workers 21st!
Today is my best friend Rob's 21st!
Tomorrow is my roomies 21st!
And the day after is MY 21st!
The plan so far is dinner with my big sis, and come back to the house, go to the 18 and up club at midnight, so EVERYONE can celebrate! Thursday (my actual birthday) I have class, then happy hour and then a few local bars. Friday night Rob and I are going to our fav bar and actually drink for the first time together and have it be legal.
I know my weekend sounds a little excessive, but it's me, I liek to go out and dance rather than drink, but this weekend I will be drinking, but doing it responsible.
I also got my first birthday card today, it's from Brad McCue's parents. Brad died the night of his 21st nirthday from drinking 21 shots. Mrs. McCue has come and talked to our sorority before as well as the whole MSU greek community, so thats a little insight for anyone who thinks that 21 shots on your 21st birthday is a great idea. The McCue family sends all students a card on their 21st birthday, they also have a website telling about there program and what happened to their son, it also has a lot of tips for safe and responsible drinking
