The week after I crossed I visited some friends that live about two hours away. We hung out at the club on Friday till the wee hours of the morning. We got up early Saturday morning, put on sweats and tee-shirts then dashed to Mac Donalds for breakfast. I had on my tee shirt with para.
This guy comes up to me while in MacDonalds and says do you know where ...... is. I was really sleepy, tired and drunk and said "Is that in Raleigh or Charlotte."
The guy looked at me until finally I realized what he was asking.
My friends, a married couple, he is a Kappa and she a Delta, were on the floor laughing their asses off
. I was so embarassed. They still talk about that trip to this day.
