NOT TO BRAG...
But I have so many medals from competitons (drama, singing, readings) I made a charm bracelet! I held the leads in all but one of the school's plays-musicals and drama. PLUS I cheered and held offices in STUCO.
You guys have it sooooo much harder now. With parents starting their kids in activities at age 3, sports training going year round and each activity being so involved, its difficult if not impossible to try your hand in a variety of areas. This is a great loss for our youth.
I really wish we could go back to a time when activities had a begining AND an end! I have no doubt that many (if not most) of you have talents that are hidden away, yet you may never get the opportunity to explore them. This is tragic.
