time, is going to marry Shaunie Nelson in late December.

Good job, Shaq, with the marriage and also chewing up multiple babydaddy Shawn Kemp last night in a win. Now it's time to suck it up and get the Lakers past 10-15.

JUST when a reconciliation seemed to be on the cards for Bruce Willis and ex-wife Demi Moore, it seems another man has suddenly swept in and stolen the lady's heart.

Bruce is seething because Demi has been secretly dating ex-president Bill Clinton.

The actress is said to be captivated by Bill's "mature" sex appeal, witty one liners and charming chat-up lines. "Bruce told Demi she's mad if she goes for Clinton," an aide says. "He told her: 'He uses women – don't trust him'."

Bruce met Hillary Clinton at a Planet Hollywood fundraiser when Bill was battling the former Monica Lewinsky scandal. "I got to know Hillary pretty well," Bruce says. "She's an intelligent politician and a lovely warm person. I came away feeling sorry for her. I wanted to tell her she's going nowhere staying in that marriage."

Whispers from Clinton's camp suggest that he intends to separate from his long-suffering wife in the New Year. But bitter Bruce is determined that the former politician will get nowhere with Demi.

"Bruce has done his research," an aide says. "He would have made an excellent private detective. He likes to find out about people, and what he's found out about Bill Clinton was sufficient in his eyes to warrant contacting Demi. He told me: 'Clinton's an even bigger womaniser than JFK ever was'."

But Demi, stunning at 40 after a $US700,000 ($1.2 million) makeover, is in no mood to listen to his pleas, and is said to be smitten with the man Bruce has branded "the Silver Fox".

BRANDY AND HUBBY: Dynamic production duo.

(Dec. 16, 2002) *Brandy and hubby producer Robert Smith are making beautiful music together. Besides creating a new family, the two have also created some hit songs for popular acts like Toni Braxton and Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland.
The couple share writing credits on the songs "Selfish" and "Always" on Braxton's CD "More Than A Woman" and on the song "Love/Hate" from Rowland's solo debut "Simply Deep."

The two apparently are in great harmony. They began working together musically on Brandy's latest set "Full Moon" and had such great "chemistry," Launch reports, that they decided to do outside projects together.

"Brandy writes on pretty much everything I do," Smith said. "She's an incredible writer. She tapped into it from just playing around with me. I was like, 'You're talented.'"

The writing and production duo are now hard at work on tracks for Brandy's next album.

I'll work for that campaign. We have to make something happen. Even if Al doesn't win, I hope that he gets enough votes to show that "we" are condenders in this country!!

Bratt, Soto Announce Birth of Daughter

NEW YORK (AP) - Actors Benjamin Bratt (news) and Talisa Soto (news) have announced the birth of their first child, a girl named Sophia Rosalinda Bratt.

The child was born Dec. 6 and weighed 7 pounds, the couple said Monday through a spokesman.

Bratt and Soto married in April after working together on the 2001 film "Pinero."

Bratt, who turned 39 on Monday, dated "Pretty Woman" star Julia Roberts (news) for four years. He has co-starred on the NBC legal drama "Law & Order" and appeared in the films "The River Wild," "Traffic" and "Miss Congeniality."

Soto, 35, has appeared in "The Mambo Kings," "Spy Hard" and the "Mortal Kombat" movies.

There will be an honorary member induction held during the celebration of Delta Sigma Theta's 90th birthday. As part of this auspicious occasion, a gala will be held on Saturday January 11, 2003. Tickets to the event were sold for $150, not $1500.

As to whether Hallie Berry will be inducted, I will leave that until Jan 12th to answer.

Pepsi has dropped Britney Spears for their new promos and have added Beyonce to do the honors. Britney's contract ends at the end of this month.

You know, I hope she has taken some acting/photo/commercial lessons because I CAN NOT stand her in those Feria commercials.

Especially with that blonde "finger in the light socket" curly hot mess of a hair do! I didn't like her either in Goldmember. I think I'm just a Beyonce hater.

Actor Wesley Snipes is trying to do damage control now that the secret is out. Last week I talked about Singer Christopher Williams and his revealing interview with Journalist Jawn Murray. Christopher talked about the ex boyfriend who abused Actress Halle Berry, the guy who beat her, and bust her eardrum. Christopher said it was time for the truth to be known because he was tired of people thinking he was the ex boyfriend who beat her up. Christopher revealed how it was Actor Wesley Snipes and the S__t hit the fan. Wesley had an agreement with Halle that this incident was not to be revealed but Halle would mention the abuse all the time in interviews but she would never reveal who beat her. She would only say he was famous. Wesley has met with his lawyers and in an effort to protect his reputation Wesley has put this spin on the situation. He has described it as an accident, an incident that happened in his younger days. Wesley doesn’t have a good rep with the sisters. He recently became a dad again with his Asian girlfriend. Now speaking of Halle I hear she and Eric Benet may be renewing their vows as they work on saving their marriage. They go to church regularly, Halle clutching a bible and Eric wearing designer suits and walking around barefoot.

Anita Baker Speaks! It’s been seven long years and Anita is getting ready to test the waters. Anita is doing a series of concerts in New York to get a feel from the audience. She says if she gets a good response and if she feels good about she will consider going on the road again. I hear she may be appearing in this area in late winter. So what has Anita been doing all these years? Anita says she has been raising her children (she has two sons) and being a wife. Anita has also had to deal with sick relatives who were in her care. The most amazing story has to be of Singer Samantha Ivy Burton. Samantha is the daughter of the Legendary Nancy Wilson. Samantha has lost three hundred pounds since entering a recovery program for food addiction. She went from a size 32 to a size 8.

Natalie Cole says Whitney Houston should not have done the infamous Prime Time Live interview with Diane Sawyer. Natalie has been drug and alcohol free for 20 years and she says the questions that were asked were difficult and intrusive. She also stated how the timing was crappy because it was done to promote an album. Years ago Natalie was battling her own demons with drugs and alcohol but she overcame her addictions with counseling.
