CANCUN, BABY!!!!!!!!
Last year this is where most of my house went. It can't be beat as far as beautiful clear water and nightlife is concerned.....they have some of the top 10 clubs in the world. Look up Dady O's/ Dady Rock on the web for convincing.
This will be my 13th year going down there, my family has a timeshare. I'll be there the same time as you!
My only complaint would be that there seems to be a lot more kids on their senior spring break there, but if you go to the right clubs its easy to see which ones attract an older crowd. (Hey I'm only 20 so i guess I can't say anything.) Now that I'm in a sorority I've met some really cool Greeks down there every year, too.
Safety/ crime is so not a concern as long as you stay in a respectable place, the Oasis is like THE HOTEL to be at, MTV was there last year, but a lot of my friends like, didn't have a lock on the door, got stuff stolen, and one didn't have a door b/c it fell off the day we got there and never got fixed!
I know you said you wanted to do road trips and the beach, but if you go through Student Express they have packages starting at like 400, w/ airfare and all inclusive food.
Basically, it's like a second home to me so if anyone wants to know about any hotels or anything just ask!!
