We have sorority floors in the dorms which works nicely. It keeps dues down a lot and its still fun as the floors are set up a little differently than a normal dorm floor. We have a TV room, an office, a kitchen and in the basement of the dorm we have a chapter room. Sororities hold chapter in a classroom on campus. The 'elevator room' as its called usually has a recent composite and shows off the sorority. Its very nice. Members are required to spend 3 semesters on the hall and many of the officer positions require you to live on teh hall.
While the sorority houses are nice, its nice to be on campus in the dorms because you are still close to everything and you aren't so far away from the new members or members who don't live on the hall.
All in all, I prefer the dorms for sororities but thats just my personal opinion.
