1) Feminism at its most radical is self defeating. It is most useful when given to self-enlightenment. It has ultimately worked to disrupt the synergy between the sexes because it throws the natural order of gender relationships into a political and socio-economic battle that was never meant to exist, thus creating divorce, fractured families, and confused women looking for emotional pampering from Oprah, Iyanla, and "Sex in the City".

2)Patriarchy is/was the natural order of life since humans walked upright. The lack of cohesion, fractionalization, and disunity in our communities is directly proportional to matriarchal nature of contemporary Black society. Although this was once by default, it is so endemic that it is all that most Black children will know. Almost all social ills attack the weakest and most economically deprived families (which are almost always matriarchal) When a man does not assume his rightful place as provider, protector, and director of his family, they and the community suffer. What I have stated is no slight against the 75% of Black families that are headed by strong, Black women (some, not all) trying to do their best. But it is an uphill battle

3)Society is gender-biased, but that is a two-way street. Men seldom get custody of children in a divorce or custody battle. Women don't get drafted. Society must be gender biased because the sexes are not the same, nor are they equal. Somethings women can do better, some men. Equal maybe, different yes. Why would a woman want to be a man or like a man (and vice versa) Because a woman is a woman, doesn't make her less than a man on any level, just different. We should respect teh differences, not blur them.
