I was a child in the mid- to late 1960s and the 1970s. I'm glad that I survived life!

After my junior high school experience as an extreme misfit, I was convinced that I would be dead at the age of 18.

Earlier than that, I remember rolling around on the couch at my house, crying because I was afraid that an earthquake would separate California from the rest of the United States.
