Dear Santa,
These are a little out of your general line of gifts, but anything you can do would be greatly appreciated:
1) A job that won't be eliminated by corporate merger or the faltering economy.
1a) That would help me buy the new car. (I don't expect you to provide it for me) 160,000 miles on the little roadster is enough -- and young son would like to take the old one to school next year.
2) Health, happiness and some financial stability for the two girls and their families.
2a) Then we could stop giving them our old cars and young son could take mine to school next year. (Are you noticing a pattern here?)
3) Good health and happiness for Mrs. DeltAlum and me.
4) "Peace" between college administrations and GLO's.
5) Finally, a little "grown up" behavior where necessary within the ranks of my brother Greeks -- and matching behavior by the universities.
I know these are not very tangible, but, as I said, anything you can do will be appreciated.
