Okay, this is not only my worst formal story, but my worst life experience to date as well.
When I first got to college, I started dating this awesome guy who also happened to be in a fraternity. We had been dating for about 5 months when my very first sorority formal EVER came around. I got an awesome dress, my hair done, the works. He picked me up with a dozen pink roses with the thorns cut off (our flower is the Pink Kilarny Rose that grows without thorns...so it was a pretty nice gesture.) We get to the formal...it was beautiful. We eat and then proceed to the dance hall. We are slow dancing to the first slow song when I look up...he has a really weird look on his face. When I ask what is wrong, he replies, "we need to talk". I say "If this conversation ends in let's just be friends, I'm gonna kick your ass." He says, "We need to leave then." That's right, I got dumped. But hey I'm not bitter or anything!
However, that is the night I became really close with some of my sisters b/c they helped me out so much. So alls well that ends well, I suppose.
