How about hors d'oeuvres - like potato puffs, cheese puffs, those mini hot dogs, etc. I think those can be heated in a microwave.
Drinks... if you're staying there, no need to worry about drinking and driving. Somehow I suspect this is the idea...
I'll one-up Lana and suggest bagels and lox for the morning - if you can find decent bagels and lox where you're going (I can think of New York, and, um... New York )
