Ahhh...the spider and the web approach. I sit there in my "corner" and he crawls/falls in the web and gets tangled up. In other words I use baits. I study him, therefore I learn what gets him, I lure him, making my passive-aggressive move. I let him do the persuing, eventhough I'm pulling the strings.
