I'm a Phi Sig at U of I and to answer one of your questions, our house mom (whose been here for 20 years!!!) had said that Tri Sigma's use to be on campus. I can't remember the reason why they left. I've also heard that Zeta Tau Alpha is looking to recolonize but greek affairs won't let them back in right now because we are not ready to expand with more sororities.

And I wanted to say great job with recruitment!!!
