I'm registered as Democrat so I can vote in the primaries (and I'm more of a democrat than republican), although I'm really independent; no party really appeals to me.

Interesting side note: when I was growing up, my parents each registered one as a Democrat & the other as a Republican. Then they could have a voice in both primaries. Interesting idea. They, too, are opposed to our stupid 2-party system.

Angry

The two party system is a joke...it's more like one big party with conservative and "progressive" arms. If they weren't threatened by the power of a third party, why would they ban third-party candidates from debating?

That said, I'm pretty darned Green, although I am becoming slightly Red.

I've noticed that the majority of people here are either conservative Democrats or Republicans. Does that reflect a general conservatism on the part of Greeks, like I've always suspected?

Amen, about the third party part, we definately a rise of one (and not the green one). Think both parties are f**ked up.
