Here is a question that I think is very interesting that my friend asked me: What do fraternities and sororities think when a person goes on line, drops for personal reasons then later on ends up pledging for a different organization? This is a question that was directed to people who have not been initiated. It's all hypothetical though.

Sometimes it's in their best interest. If you mean by going "on line" they pledge a certain group.. Change their mind and go somewhere else... Hell it's legitimate. If someone didn't want to be a Sigma Nu and would rather be a PKA I wouldn't stop the guy he needs to go where he feels at home. It's a lifetime committment and until you're initiated as a full member then go where you need to go.

That person will get the beat-down of their life if we ever found out.
We had a girl do that very thing! She decided that she wanted to be a DG and then the very next rush she wanted something else?!?!? I just have to laugh though because WHAT was she thinking?
Sorry, I am a Delta Gamma and I hold it very high.

No, I'm talking about "regular" fraternities and sororities. Also I was being sarcastic when I said that.
Anyways, CuriousKat, that sort of thing is looked down, however do what you gotta do. Not everyone will be satisfied the w/ the GLO they picked, if you haven't initiated I see no problem swapping if you think and feel that it is the right thing to do.

Just to clarify, are you referring to historically African-American orgs? If so, you are in the wrong place, lol. There is a very healthy representaion on NPHC Greeks on this site, and you would probably be better to direct your question towards them.
