This is such a fun song! I'm going from memory here, but this is how we sang it...my apologies to any fraternity men about the use of 'frat' but I guess that's how it was originally written.
He wore his college frat pin
right above his heart
and with his college frat pin
he swore he'd never part
four long years of college
