AOX Rush/Recruitment

I just received an e-mail from one of my sisters about one of the other sororities trying to bring us up on a rush infraction.

Here is the story:
We have two chapters in the same city. We just finished Rush for the Beta Chapter and we now have 9 new pledges for that chapter.

Problem #1: Somebody told a member of another sorority that we were taking rushee's/PNMs from our ALPHA Chapter to the bar with us last night! WRONG...my girls almost always to go a bar to sing kareoke on Wednesday nights and they had planned on taking our most recent PLEDGES from our BETA Chapter with them...not girls currently going through Rush. Before finding out all of the facts everybody started jumping to conclusions and my sorority didn't even go out to the bar last night!

Problem #2:
Girls from our Beta Chapter were told that they could participate in Rush events with our Alpha Chapter if they wanted to help out and see what Rush was like at another school. The other two sororities on campus do the exact same thing and have even done it during this Rush.

Why is everybody getting so bent out of shape about everything? Why can't everyone just get along and have a good time? Rush would run much more smoothly if everyone just worked together!!
