Regarding myth #10-
Being in an SUV saved my life in January.
Three carloads of my sisters were on a community service trip in another nearby city when the Chevy Blazer I was in was struck from behind by a Semi-Tractor trailer. We hit the carload of sisters in front of us, hit the semi again and then did about four spins (like in the movies) and ended up backwards facing on the curb. The only reason I am alive is because we were in an SUV that could take the impact. I am still in pain, still in therapy and have to see a spinal surgeon, but at least I am still alive. Thank God for SUVs!
