Hmmm, I'm confused. I posted on another thread that Sept. 30 was Alpha Phi's Founders' Day because I looked it up in my Ivy Leaf, and read that Alpha Phi was founded on Sept. 30 with the first initiation ceremony. Now I just did a quick search on the internet, and (after shuffling through a million Alpha Phi Omega and Alpha Phi Alpha sites) found mention of October 10. Can any of my sisters help me out here? I always thought it was in October, but then I saw 9/30 in the book. What's the deal?

Edited to add:
Okay, I answered my own question. Alpha Phi Fraternity was founded on September 30, 1872. However, in 1904, at the Eighteenth Convention, the date was changed to October 10 to accommodate the late starting dates at some colleges.

So I was half right...sorry for the confusion!
