I have TOTALLY been where you are right now!!! I am always being told to think smaller, and I hate that! "Thinking small" is exactly why nothing gets done. "Thinking small" leads to apathetic members and boring events. I always think BIG, and I made my college years unforgettable just by trying things that no one else would attempt. People don't like to get their hands dirty, so to speak.
Keep getting your ideas out there. Someone will listen.
