Actually I graduated from Mines in May.
I never knew that Coors made Blue Moon until I took the tour at the brewery and had some in the tasting area. Actually I have never taken the full tour of the brewery here. All the students from Mines take the "short tour" after classes, which is basically skipping the tour and drinking beer in the tasting area for free. Actually at Mines we call the short tour - Coors Lab. Ha Ha... One of those jokes only an engineering school would think was funny...
