Words...

I would say that when I was younger, I hated hearing the word B*t*h and N*****, but now, the words don't bother me. I grew up in an all African American community and when I was about 13, we moved to a basically all white community. Needless to say, white folks would say N** this and Black B**** that, and it would bother me. But I realized, if you let a word control how you feel, people will always use it. IMHO, White folks wouldn't bother say the "N" word or for that matter, flying that Confederate flag if they knew African Americans could care less. Even if a man calls me a B***, so what? His opinion isn't going to upset me....the way I see it, anyone who uses a word to try to stimulate a negative reaction in someone is the ignorant one!

Ok, I know anyone who's reading this is saying,........that was not the question..............but I have always wanted to share how I felt about that!
