I totally feel your pain CutiePie, anytime I call a place that asks my name I say it and then immediately start spelling it. Do your kids a favor, go to the store with all the personalized little kids stuff and if the name you want to name your child isn't there, DON'T use that name!!!!!
EDITED TO ADD: perhaps I should put my name here......Cheyenne, not exactly the irish last name my grandmother planned on and that's what happens when your mom is so convinced that she is having a boy that she doesn't give a second thought to a GIRLS name!!!
