Hi! I'm from the Alpha Upsilon chapter at Murray State University in Kentucky. I am the current chaplin here and a member of the Alpha class. We're pretty new here at Murray and aren't part of the panhillenic stuff... We're happy right where we are. I have got an awsome group of sisters and consider it a privilege to be part of our group. We're doing spring rush and can't wait to meet our beta class (as soon as they come along) we have had an overwhelming response of girls wanting to know more about us, so I suppose we've done something right. Being the newest professional sorority on campus, we still have some things to learn, but our philanthropic event, the Murray St. School of Agriculture Womanless Beaty Pagent, has been a real hit... despite the long name. We get all of our "ag boys" together and dress them up in prom dresses/school uniforms/flowerdy moomoos and wigs and let them strut their stuff on stage. This past year, I think we had a representitive from every fraternity on campus. I think that it is a great opportunity to get our name out on campus. We're learning fast how to do things and how not to do them, plus having a lot of fun on the way. On October 6th, it will be our one year anniversary of being on campus!!!! Woo Hoo and GO RACERS!
