Rush and work

When I went through Rush (we called it Rush back then), I knew that it was going to take up some of the hours I set aside for work. However, because I was so serious about making this Rush a succesful one, I asked my boss to cut down my hours so I could attend Rush events. If that wasn't possible, then I'd double up on the weekends since most Rush events are held during the week. I was lucky that my boss was understanding about my situation!

It was a small sacrifice to make, and it was difficult as I often found myself too tired for school, friends, and the BF...but I knew that I had to do it. I knew back then that, if the sisters could take the time out of their schedules to put effort into their Rush events, then I should do the same and attend them.
