Sacred Heart was a school that has had immense growth in it's greek system. Tri Delta came on and quickly grew to total. I figured they'd open up soon.
UNC opened most likely since Kappa closed (they closed due to low numbers this past spring.) so I'm hoping a new group can come on and do well.

Hm. Interesting about the Georgia schools.
Ga Southern must have had some real chapter growth. Two of those sororities folded and came back in recent years so they must be solid by now.
I think that Ga Gwinnett is still strictly commuter. It'll be interesting to see how that pans out.
If y'all can believe it, my oldest granddaughter will start college (probably at Georgia Southern) in the fall a year from now. I have no idea if she'll rush.

Methodist has had NPHC growth and the 3 fraternities on campus have good numbers. The one NPC sorority is at half of total and has seen a steady decline in membership over the past two years. As the advisor to the current sorority I’m curious to see how extension pans out there…

Do you think the declining interest is due to the ADPi incident a few years ago and current students hesitate joining?
I also saw on the Greek Life IG account a potential new sorority interest survey. Maybe the results indicate a new sorority is feasible

The ADPi incident is rarely mentioned anymore so I don’t think that’s much of a factor. The women I advise were not informed of the interest survey until the day it went out which can be done since there isn’t a CPC but I didn’t think it was in the best taste. Since the survey, some of our chapter’s members think there is a push to get a sorority on campus that has more of a national presence. My concern is the chapter total currently being at 40 and our chapter hasn’t had that many members since I’ve been with them (Fall 2020). We’re currently sitting at 21 and it might be hard to compete with recruiters from someone’s HQ.

Well, the other side of that coin is 1) a colony is hard, especially when there's not a ton of interest at the school in general 2) even if they do have women from another group's HQ, those women are not going to be the ones sustaining the chapter. Who's on the campus is who's on the campus. I mean if a bigger national presence group blows onto campus and thinks they're going to get 200 members they'll be disappointed.

Methodist University has suspended a sorority as complaints mount on social media over a presentation last week at a sorority event that many found racist.
During the PowerPoint presentation, a member of the Alpha Delta Pi rated pictures of Black players on last year's Methodist football team and pointed out features, such as dreadlocks noses and lips, that she found unattractive. The presentation was supposed to be funny, but few found humor in it.

I don't know if this was posted already but Pi Beta Phi at Marquette will be closing at the end of the Spring term due to low membership.
