One apparantly joins a sorority for how many big, important celebrities and children/grandchildren of celebrities the sorority has overall. And for how much money/influence those in said sorority have/generate.
So what would make any sorority stop its members from.trending/cashing in during this rushtok era?
More attention by PNMs to rushtok influencers means more joiners to those influencer sororities means more money for said sororities via increased undergraduate member numbers,.even if only 2-4% of those who join ever truly keep their life-long oaths.
