What happened?

Please correct me if wrong: I will guess John or the mods likely have gone thru and cut down in size a lot of the long/older threads in past year, some of it done to help keep GC powered against bot attscks

John is letting me go through the posts and choose the best ones to put back! YAY! Some of those will never age, like the 2 by Delta Zetas near the beginning.

Yay! I haven’t looked at this thread in a long time, but I remember many years ago, when I was bored on a work trip…I read damn near the entire thing. I was in tears laughing!

Oh that's great news!

There are tons of stupid old threads on GC, we didn't need to cut this one. At least now we can keep some of the good ol' stories because this thread is an absolute classic. Thank you for doing this!

Two threads that can easily be pruned are Word Association and Song Name Game. It's not as if anyone is going to go back to see what was previously posted.
