I've been sitting at home for five weeks post Achilles' tendon surgery. I did not get a chance to drive by to see the house decorations this year ... always amazes me what they accomplish during work week!

Despite the fact that frill recruitment is supposed to not be a thing anymore, between the tik tok dance videos and the decorations for each round, I say it's alive and well!

(Though I have heard of people missing skit round)

We went to "no frills" recruitment and so now chapters blow out thousands of dollars on work week themes, sets, and costumes.

Exactly!!! I am wondering if National Panhellenic is going to consider putting some guideline in place regarding work week themes and all the paraphernalia associated with the videos.

My mom happened to find one of the work week reels on her social media and asked if this was the new version of a door song or chat?
I explained to her that this was just for work/polish week and she couldn't believe how much money was being spent to create those videos.

Door chants are alive and well, as seen on the PHC's instagram for Bama and Ole Miss. (though I love them personally.)

I did see some of the decorations for philanthropy and sisterhood like my goodness I can't imagine how much all that cost!

Glad that those schools still permit door chants. Out my Alma Mater, Panhellenic has banned them.
