Just got the word my R35 will be ready for pickup today at noon. Haven’t driven it yet, but everything I wanted done is finally in place.
I kept the outside completely stock, but under the hood it’s exactly what I had in mind. Full E85 flex-fuel setup, ID1300X injectors, DW400 pump, high-flow catted downpipes, resonated midpipe, upgraded stock location intercooler, all chosen to stay street legal but still push real power.
I asked for a clean crackle map in sport mode, and the tuner delivered. He said it pops just right, nothing over the top. On the dyno, he said it even threw a couple small flames at redline, which is exactly the kind of subtle drama I was hoping for. 
It’s now making around 800 crank hp, about 680 to the wheels. No CELs, still has cats, and supposedly drives smooth when you’re off it. I’ll find out at noon, just in time for Cars & Coffee this weekend. Can’t wait to feel it for myself.
