@ PB. Dude, I found a church home and have only been a member for about three weeks. Already been told they’re trying to oust the pastor because dude’s been watching porn and charging it to the church. I haven’t even made it out of the new member class yet LOL!

Man, church will teach you real quick that having a title doesn’t mean you’ve got integrity. Don’t get fooled by appearances. Just because someone stands at a pulpit or calls themselves Pastor, Prophet, Bishop, it doesn’t really mean anything if their character doesn’t back it up. My dad’s old pastor had three women pregnant all at once, and one of those women was his wife. I thought it was two, it was three. When they got ready to get rid of him, he said “I don’t know what the problem is, I’m taking care of them.”
So I guess technically he believed in family values… just in bulk. 😂
But here’s what I’ve learned, people will disappoint you every single time when you expect them to stand where only God does. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
Humans will fail you. God won’t. Keep your eyes in the right place, and you won’t be shocked when the pastor’s living a soap opera. Laugh, learn, and move on.
That’s why I trust God fully, and why I trust people accordingly — full trust in God, and conditional, earned, reality-based trust in people. Pretty simple.

Bro, that story you told about your pops pastor is the first thing I thought about when I found out. They met today or something like that to figure things out. I laughed at first but then realized I’m listening to a dude preach while having porn downloads on his computer LOL
