I just got home from my son's wedding weekend and it was so fun and special I absolutely love my daughter in law and I think they make a really good pair. They share very similar values in all of the areas where it really counts. We had a great weekend.

Yes, they stayed at my house last night and I took them to the airport at 3 am to go to Curacao for the week.

Fun fact: according to shadokat's 2024-25 NPC Chapter and Campus list, thirteen NPC groups have at least one current, active Canadian Chapter. They are Alpha Gamma Delta, Kappa Alpha Theta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Zeta, Alpha Phi, Delta Gamma, Alpha Delta Pi, Delta Phi Epsilon, Alpha Epsilon Phi, Delta Delta Delta, Gamma Phi Beta and Pi Beta Phi.

My Kiwanis Club does a lot on the 4th with the local city festival. We have a bike decorating clinic for kids who want to ride their bikes in the parade, then we have the parade and throw candy to kids during that. Then we are having a cute pet contest fundraiser at the carnival. There are amusement rides and junk food, a craft show, a beer tent and live music all day. We have a booth where people submit pics of their pet. We have a donation jar for each pet and the one that has the most money in the jar at the end of the day wins. The money goes to our service projects.

Then they have fireworks. It's TKEGuy's turn to come here this weekend and I'm hoping he'll come out before the fireworks. My friend lives near where they shoot them off so we watch them from her house.
