Could just be an ironic nickname like calling a bigger guy Slim or a tall guy Tiny.

Anyway, here's a photo of a university-aged Ant

LOL! For real? Dude, you don’t remember when I’d be up looking at old GC posts back from before I joined this site? Remember when I found these? They wouldn’t have posted this about big dude in the boots. I met PB IRL, and that ain’t him. Big dude in the boots looks like he ate PB and still had room for desert LOL

And I just realized just now after reading these, they were low-key going to paparazzi PB, and upload him on here for all to see without his consent LMAO! I hollered

I lost the weight since then, but the boots stayed loyal. And real talk? I got them joints from a Payless that were going out of business — two for one deal next to the clearance Crocs.

LMAO @ PB making a failed attempt to talk hood. You posted that like it was your first time trying to be urban since SAT prep. Dude said “joints” like it was on a resume LOL!

LOL! That pic was obviously taken by a professional photographer with a studio set-up, and THAT is what the guy chose to wear?

CG, thanks for the liver info...I will definitely let you know what Pip's vet does. He"s been fine since his bug ...eating, energetic, etc.

WIFLSRN: The end of my day at work just now was so much fun, lol. My coworkers didn’t know I could dance. I’m like, seriously? And then I’m like, yes, I know how to dance. I don’t know how they didn’t know this about me. Just in our random conversations on seldom slower days, I told them I cheered and I was also on the dance team, so how they didn’t know…. Maybe they thought I forgot. Well, they didn’t believe me so I took my lab coat off, put on a song from one of my playlists, and I showed them. They were like “Wow!” Then they tried it. Hilarious!

One of our patients was literally looking at me like…..

lol

And honestly, props to your hubby for holding it down without making it about him. That’s strength most people don’t even notice unless they’ve had to do it. Emotional safety ain’t loud. It’s consistent. It’s choosing calm when everything in you wants to react. That’s rare.

But I also respect you for looking back and owning your part. A lot of people don’t do that. Chicks especially. They bounce before owning up. The fact that you see him now, even retroactively, that matters. That kind of awareness? That’s how you grow closer, for real.

Y’all are a solid couple, no doubt. It ain’t about being perfect. It’s about being accountable to each other when life ain’t pretty. I respect that heavy. Thanks for sharing that, CG. Now, I get what you meant by that.
I can’t speak for other women and why they act on the decisions they make. I mean, some have good reason to leave if they married a jerk, lol. I’m very lucky though. When I met him, something in me just clicked. I fell hard and fast… and it felt so safe to. It’s like, how I am, I don’t halfway love, I go all in.. heart, mind, soul, the whole thing. And I’m so glad I did with him.

Yep. I think he’s sending the Marines in to stop the protests, if he hasn’t already. I hate him. I’m so sick of watching evil people win. They lie, manipulate, hurt others, and somehow they get rewarded for it. And yeah, I know God sees everything, but sometimes I wish He’d move faster? Because good people are drowning while cowards keep getting crowns. Pisses me off!

I put on “Music in You” and I rocked it… in scrubs, lol. This dance.

LOL! Some of us on here know why. You remember Jeremy’s cold ass breadsticks? And how he left that Yelp review like, “Pizza dude had no expression. Looked like he just saw the meaning of life in the cheese”? That’s what your hubby did to you. Turned you out. Had you out here looking emotionally sautéed. “I fell hard and fast and it felt safe”. Girl please. He hit that spiritual nerve so good you started quoting scripture and aromatherapy oils. Dude didn’t just take your heart, he reset your entire factory settings.

When he saw you, and you saw him, he didn’t just move in for the kill, he walked into your emotional control panel, hit “select all,” and reprogrammed who you were/are as a woman. That’s beyond “turned out”, that’s transcendent upgrade.

“I fell hard and fast and it felt safe”. Yeah, okay, CG. Up in here trying to sound soft and poetic LOL!

Yes it does, it makes complete sense. So, it’s kind of like living in, like a blind spot? Like, you can’t live in your own blind spots, but your spouse does. That’s the point I was making. And that’s what those couples in the documentary couldn’t see. They just kept analyzing each other, and not themselves. So, it’s not really about imagining being married to yourself, it’s like recognizing the emotional environment you create. If that makes sense.

Those couples were a mess, lol.

I love the pic, Xant. I remember your band picture on here from way back when.

You’re very welcome. I’m so glad he’s eating and being himself. Thank you for keeping me posted.
