WIFLSRN: The Geek Squad kept my laptop for like 12 days just to jiggle a wire. And the guy “Bryce” looked like he was buffering in real life. Never again!

Daisy looked adorable in that costume! Was she Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz? I know you must really miss her. I miss Teddy so much. He was super chill and never minded his Wily Coyote Acme jet pack Halloween costume. Pippin wouldn't even wear his very small birthday hat last week...we are birthday twins so I had to wear it instead, lol.

Charlie's funniest costume was a hot dog. It was basically the bun with mustard and ketchup- like this! Being a PBGV, it looked great because he was all body with tiny little legs.

WIFLSRN: Tuesdays and Thursdays are just too much most of the time. It was so busy today at work, I only sat down once all day for a dental procedure. I got home at like 4ish, showered, and I only wanted to take a nap for an hour so I could be up for dinner. I’m just now waking up. 🫤

I am so mad that no one woke me. I woke up thinking it was 9:40am and that I overslept work. I was so confused for a few seconds. Then I’m like… “Why is it dark?” Everyone is asleep, and now I’m just like lying here in bed and I’m the only one up. I cannot believe I slept that long. Oh.. my…. GAWD!

Pets in those type of costumes are either the most unbothered animals on the earth, or plotting with every fiber of their being and there is no in-between.

On my way to work this morning I had to stop and get gas. The old man who I guess was behind me stopped to get gas too.

Old man: “Young man, I think your car is on fire. It’s fine now, but it was on fire just a few minutes ago before we both pulled in here.”

Me: “Yeah, I gotta get that fixed.”

It was easier telling him that rather than explaining to him that it appeared that way to him because (he’s old) it runs a rich fuel mixture and uses aggressive ignition timing and rev-matching, leading to small amounts of unburnt fuel igniting in the exhaust, especially during shifts or deceleration.

If I explained it that way which is why he thought that, his response would have still been “Your car was on fire just a few minutes ago young man.” 😂

Ol’ girl I met in Minneapolis in February came out to my neck of the woods this week for a conference. She left back to her crib today. I enjoyed her.

Hey y’all, why don’t women like it when another woman makes her dude a plate of food? LOL. Ol girl I’ve been talking to long-distance shares that with me while she was here. Told me her ex cheated on her and it all started with a plate of food. Always came home full. Ladies, would y’all get mad if another woman made your dude a plate of food? I’m just trying to get second thoughts and clarification to see if it’s just her being insecure. Is that really a forbidden thing?

He just heard the popping and thought it sounded like it was going to “blow up.” He was probably in his late 70s early 80s.

It’s “forbidden” because it crosses relational, emotional, and spiritual boundaries that God designed to protect marriage. Another woman offering a plate to a married man isn’t inherently wrong or whatnot, but depending on motive, context, and delivery, it can signal an inappropriate step toward a role she’s not called to fill. It happened to me. I handled it though.

^^^ LMAO! You never posted this, PB. What happened? So it is a thing then. Honestly, I think dude would have cheated on her regardless though. That’s what I told her.

Yeah, it is a thing in the sense that some women notice it as an early sign or signal. But you’re 100% right, if a man cheats, the issue is his heart, character, and choices. The woman offering the plate of food didn’t make him betray his partner, he chose to betray her on his own. If he was going to be unfaithful, something else would’ve opened the door eventually.

When I lived in Michigan a woman at my job in my department liked me, fully knowing I was married. After offering to bring me a plate of something she made, I just told her kindly, “Thank you, that’s thoughtful, but my wife takes care of me, I’m all set.”

She stopped after that. I’m not sure if you were around but we’ve had this “plate of food” discussion in D&R.
