OK as a sister I would want to make sure my social chair made sure we did mixers with EVERY frat on Campus.. not just the ones that we "like" and hang out with all the time. I really want to get to know ALL the other orgs. on campus. NPC, NPHC, Multicultural, get known on campus. Also a good social chair always has things planned ahead of time, make sure they know you'll get things organized ahead of time and let people know when things are happening. Also make sure you'll always on the look out for opportunities to plan socials. Talk to everyone you meet who wears letters. Also try different themes and such, don't just stick when the same old parties that everyone has... see if some people here on GC have social themes that no one at your school has done yet.
remember as the chair you are just supposed to lead and organize, but your comittee IS there to help you don't do everything on your own, you'll get bitter and so will the ladies on your committee. that's about all I can think of but GOOD LUCK and PARTY HARD hehehehehe
