Tom-
My sympathies go out to you, your brother's family, and the family of Lambda Chi Alpha. Dealing with death is one of the most difficult things put before us in life. The next couple weeks are going to be very difficult (or maybe longer...know this one from personal experience ) as thoughts of, "why him, why now," linger. Eventually the tears will dry, and you and everyone else close to your brother will be stronger and know you have an angel watching over you. Until then, know we are all here for you if you ever need to talk.

Jess

On a depressing sidenote...
We are going through death at Northwest too. An Alpha Kappa Lambda’s younger brother (I believe he was a senior in high school) died Friday in a car accident. There are a lot of people shook up by this, as they went to a large KC high school (Park Hill) that has several people at Northwest. Almost the whole AKL fraternity is making the trip to Kansas City on Monday in support of Matt in his difficult time. The whole greek community is united in support for him too. There were sympathy cards floating around at parties on Friday night, and some greek orgs (I know we are at least) are sending cards and memorials. Both of these instances are examples that GREEK LIFE IS A FAMILY!
