Ruth Bader Ginsburg graduated from Cornell and served on the Supreme Court. When she died, there was a memorial in my city, and I got interviewed by the local news station.

Elizabeth Glaser founded the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS foundation, which is one of our philanthropies.

Judith Resnik was killed in the Challenger disaster.

Will Ferrell’s son is a Sigma Alpha Mu at USC. He had his dad DJ, or rather fake DJ, a Sammy party there this year. There’s video on the internet if you want to google. (Will was a Delta Tau Delta at USC.)

I know USC Greek orgs have a lot of celebrity kids (as well as future celebrities). DG has several: chef Bobby Flay’s daughter (also co-host on one of his Food Network’s shows) and 1 of Sylvester Stallone’s daughters are USC DG’s (now both Alumnae).

I just read about a local woman who was selected as a NASA astronaut candidate. The article said that she attended the University of Southern California. Out of curiosity, I did a search and, yes, she is a sorority woman! She is a Pi Beta Phi from California Gamma chapter at USC.
