Note: I’m in LA County and the photos and videos are horrible. There are also now arsonists setting fires in other areas, like studio city and Beverlywood, causing even more havoc and devastation. Luckily, I live in an area that’s not affected (so far), though the air quality is bad. Just to be safe, I do have a bag packed of essentials in case and evacuation is called for.
Hi ChioLu. I agree that virtual recruitment should be fairly easy for all involved.

Glad that you are staying safe. Yes the videos and photos are heartbreaking. My niece and her boyfriend had to evacuate and fire came within 4 blocks of her Pasadena home. They're still staying with her parents in South Pasadena because the water supply at home is now contaminated. She teaches in LAUSD, so for now campuses are closed.

I'm closer to LAX, so we're fine and just dealing with poor air quality.
My neighbor's son-in-law is LACo Fire fighter and has finally come off his shift on the Palisades fire for at least 24 hours. He and his team believe that arson is playing a big role in these many fires.
