I, unfortunately, have not heard back from the NYC alum chapter.
I am sure they are not checking that email account every day, though! They are supposed to volunteer at the NYC Marathon in November, so if I haven't heard by then I might just show up and introduce myself!
Sue - there is a Westchester chapter, too? I should be moving to Westchester when my current lease is up, the beginning of next year. Maybe you could PM and give me some info? And maybe the 2 chapters should try to get together every now and then? Especially for a philanthropic project or something. I was thinking of getting involved Nationally, as well. I'd love to help an active chapter, but seeing as there aren't any around here....No hope of colonizing in the NY/NJ/CT area?????
