Pass Down Ideas?

Hey!

I recently parted ways with my fam and started a new fam with my twin. We are now Hedgehog Fam! I have a little and my twin took a little. I've only been in just over a year now and I still have no idea what to make for passdowns or to make for my little. My twin has a lot of cool stuff she has gotten from our big because she's been in a bit longer than me (and my big wasn't expecting to take me).

So any cool and cute ideas for pass downs for my little and my fam?

You guys should do family letters! I know most families have them but you and your twin can totally come up with a cool print and color combo for them.

As you may not have tangible stuff to pass down, I would try to start a few traditions to pass down. Perhaps start a family scrap book where each new member/generation gets copies of the old pages to put in their own. Start a journal of the family origins and certainly the pandemic—pass that down. Make 2 copies, at least.

Perhaps come up with your own family motto, find a small memento to pass down. A pre- or post-initiation tradition (like a special pillowcase to sleep on the night before initiation, a ring that you all have, etc., a game you all play, etc.)

And tons of cute little hedgehog things.

Amazon has a lot of “tree of life” items (family tree). Some are inexpensive, like charms. I’ve even seen a few with sorority designations on them.
