I just noticed this in the newest MOI because one of my campuses had a median below 95% and so they set total at 95% and almost everyone was below. I'm seeing more campuses setting "aggressive" totals right now, like largest chapter size. I believe these are knee-jerk reactions to shrinking PNMs/interest in greek life, but that's just me...

Thank you for the explanation! That makes much more sense than the article did.

Sorry for not responding sooner, oncegreek. I concur with your assessment. The lack of Panhellenic unity is disheartening. I thought that after the ugliness of 2014, things would change or improve. That's not been the case. Personally I've seen the "tiers" shift all over the place across the years, and I continue to think it's ridiculous, all this ranking BS. If you took the letters off a DG and a Theta and switched them you'd not notice any difference. My opinion, folks.

Yes, AZ Theta. I have said that there are two "types" of sororities at UCSB: Really, really strong/selective, and really, really closed.

The colony has been put on hold until the fall due to the pandemic.

Sigma Chi re-installed the Delta Xi chapter at San Diego State University(CA). The installation ceremonies were able to be held, but the evening banquet had to be postponed to a later date.

Pi Kappa Phi has disbanded their colony at Elon University(NC). Closure is due to "failure to uphold the mission, values, and expectations of Pi Kappa Phi".
