I talked to the Prez of a SRC last week and suggested that ALL of Panhellenic should help get all chapters to total. Make it a group effort to make ALL strong!
(And my chapter isn’t even on this campus!)

Wouldn't that be lovely if they did?

That would be truly Panhellenic!

When AGD colonized at UCLA, Chi O made squirrel cookies (I found the cookie cutter at World Market) for their 1st initiation, plus included the cookie cutter.

Before Tri Delta at UCLA closed, I talked to their regional consultant (who was living on site) and their head advisor, to see if Panhellenic could do anything to help them. We discussed things like:
* having members from all sororities on their lawns in their recruitment T-shirts to chant and clap as PNM‘s walked down to the DDD house. (Tri Delta is the last house on the row from campus.) Even if it was chanting “go Greek, go Greek” to increase PNM excitement.
* Sisterhood events, like ice cream socials, between other sororities and DDD (helps practice conversation skills) or partner on philanthropy events
* “block pledging” - when you get groups of non-affiliated women who are already friends, to join as a group or a block (how our Stanford chapter went from almost shutting down to getting close to total about 15 years ago — increased from about 30 members to over 75).

At universities in Oklahoma, a strong chapter from a different school will help a weaker recruiting chapter, if the recruitment schedules do not conflict. A few years ago, the Oklahoma State Thetas assisted the Tulsa University Thetas and got that chapter back to total. Any other schools do this (and not just for colonization)?

Since (SoCal) USC’s formal recruitment is in January, I think Alpha Chi and only a couple others groups (that have so many graduating seniors where they go under total), will be doing fall recruitment for sophomores.
