Anyway, this "Norman Field" scene is different from how it was done back in my days (1985). I seem to recall we were given the bids as we were seated in the classrooms in Norman Hall...I don't think there was an outdoor mob scene back then.

FYI, for those of you who aren't familiar w/ UF's sorority row...it just so happens that 2 of Curlygirly's pref houses are NOT on the row! Pi Beta Phi is located on the other side of campus, actually on fraternity row (!!) and Kappa Kappa Gamma is located across from the main buildings on campus, on one of the main roads of Gainesville. Phi Mu is located on Sorority Row, specifically, on East Panhellenic Drive.
So, there's a 2/3 chance that our Miami girl will not be running across Norman Field with all the other pledges. I suppose PiPhi has a bus to take them and Kappa is in the other direction.
